Why JOHNSON’S® Has Everything You Need for Baby’s Bath Time!

I’ve partnered with JOHNSON’S® for this post but all opinions and text expressed are my own.

We basically start our second lives as moms – there is the prior you and then the post-mommy you. Right? Maybe this is just me, but I really think most moms find they are a new person after giving birth. I’m not saying we are a totally different person, but there is a totally new set of rules, a completely new schedule, a piece of you that is unexplored, new responsibilities and a renewed way of viewing life that really just didn’t exist pre-baby.

I know, I am getting deep and you are looking at the title, thinking, “Isn’t this about bath time?” and YES it is. In fact, bath time is what made me think of all this (I know, intense!), but the thing is our everyday actions are also redefined as moms, especially the daily products we use in our most intimate moments – and we are even more aware of these details when our kids are involved! I recently realized that after having Vera, I’ve been so much more in-tune with what products she uses and that is a trait I didn’t have before – the products she uses on a daily basis has become a part of the new me, and it’s made me rethink how to take care of her.

Of course, we all want quality. But what does that mean for our little ones? For me, that has meant using a brand that is dedicated to constantly raising the bar in terms of what they offer (ingredients) and their commitment to my baby’s overall experience during bath time. Bath time is one of the most crucial activities for babies and toddlers because it’s one of the times when parents interact the most, physically and emotionally, with them. More than just getting clean, it’s a time to connect.

For that reason, I’ve always loved JOHNSON’S® – not just because of the amazing, subtle and sweet smell that makes me feel like I’m at home every time I smell Vera’s skin as she goes to bed, but also because they are constantly committed to improving their products. Their new products eliminated all sulfates and dyes (*except cologne) and reduced the number of ingredients by 50%! The JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo offers such a soft and subtle touch to clean a baby’s fine hair and delicate scalp. It also contains a No More Tears® formula that is PERFECT for Vera to completely enjoy her bath time. Not to mention the colors of the packaging are absolutely beautiful and made it more fun during bath time since Vera loves to name and see as many colors as possible at all times!

Once we’re done splish-splashing in the bathtub, I immediately comfort Vera with a little bit of JOHNSON’S® Baby Lotion. Their lotion is a classic that’s been in my house for years. The newly launched lotion leaves the skin so fresh, moisturized, and looking healthy, and feels even softer to the touch than before. It nourishes baby’s skin for 24 hours with a mild formula that doesn’t leave any residue or leave any uncomfortable/sticky feeling like so many others do! It’s also free of known and potential fragrance allergens. It feels so smooth when Vera puts it on, she truly loves having it as part of her bath time routine to get ready for the day.
