The weekend was beautiful but it got so hot here, so I decided to put together this week’s looks with summer in mind, which is around the corner for most but knocking on our door here in Florida.
One of my favorite styles is this one, Boho Chic. I love almost all of the clothes I see in this style, and it is pretty easy to put together the looks. In this case I used some in-season basics, jean shorts and a cream colored shirt, and I added one of my go-to pieces, a kimono embroidered with gemstones from Zara. I love kimonos, they are fabulous, they have the ability to make an outfit pop and more powerful in a second. They are totally in-style right now, and I used them a ton during pregnancy because I also felt that they helped me to hide the few extra pounds pregnancy added on each month. I live in Miami, a very hot and humid city, so I always wear a dress or shorts, and with kimonos I found that I could add a little pizzazz and make the look more fashionable in a matter of seconds. Definitely a must have for the summer.

El fin de semana estuvo hermoso pero la temperatura subió un montón acá, así que decidí armar los looks de esta semana pensando en el verano que está a la vuelta de la esquina para la mayoría y en la puerta para nosotros.
Uno de mis estilos favoritos es éste, el boho chic. Me encantan casi todas las piezas que veo de este estilo y se me hace que componer looks es bastante fácil. En este caso combiné básicos de temporada, short de jean y una camisa crema, y le agregué una de mis piezas go-to, un kimono bordado en hilo y piedra de Zara. Amo los kimonos, me parecen divinos, tienen la capacidad de magnificar un outfit en un segundo. Ahora están súper de moda, los usé mucho durante el embarazo también porque sentía que me ayudaban a esconder los kilitos extras que me iba dejando el embarazo mes a mes. Vivo en Miami, una ciudad muy húmeda y calurosa así que casi siempre estoy en vestido o shorts y con los kimonos encontré que podía darle la vuelta a mis vestidos y hacer el look más “fashionable” en cuestión de segundos. Definitivamente un must have para el verano.
