What a whirlwind these past few weeks have been! As you may have noticed, I’ve been a bit (ahem, insanely) busy since we recently moved all the way from Miami to Washington, D.C. I didn’t plan for this post to coincide with our move, but it actually worked out perfectly, since the change in seasons has really affected all of us, and in particular little miss Vera Rose, who is the star of the show today (again), with Baby Dove products!

New Baby Dove is a range of baby care products that goes beyond mildness to replenish essential moisture and nutrients in baby’s skin. It was my immediate response when we moved, since each and every product was developed for normal to dry skin and goes beyond mildness to help replenish essential nutrients to help skin retain its natural moisture.

A lot of people have asked me what our first couple of weeks have been like, and they’ve truly been a blast (literally, moving long distance is no joke!), but I must say the cooler, less humid weather has been one of the more exciting changes, although it’s also had the most impact, too. Vera was born in Miami, so she is especially used to more humid weather, and since we moved she’s been so dry, after bathing in particular. I recently learned that during a single bath, baby’s skin can lose moisture up to five times faster than an adult’s, making it vulnerable to dryness.

Luckily I partnered with Dove for this new, amazing line of Baby Dove products, and Vera has maintained her beautiful, moisturized skin. During her baths, I’ve been using Rich Moisture Tip to Toe Wash, and afterwards I’ve been applying Rich Moisture Baby Lotion. Both of these products, along with the rest of the Baby Dove line, are dermatologist and pediatrician tested and hypoallergenic for all babies’ skin types. If you’re like me, you know and appreciate that Dove has a long history (60 years!) dedicated to developing quality skincare products, and this line is just an extension of their long, reputable history. While there’s no one right way to be a parent, there is a superior way to care for baby’s skin.

I must say Baby Dove has worked wonders for Vera, and it’s made all the difference during our big move! Little details like choosing the right skincare products can make all the difference in our busy schedules, and it’s so important for our little ones’ comfort and growth. Baby Dove is the only line I trust to go beyond mildness and replenish Vera’s sweet, soft skin, and it’s definitely proven to be the best choice!

Estas últimas dos semanas han sido una locura! Como se habrán dado cuenta, he estado un poquito (MUY) ocupada por lo de la mudanza. No planeé que este post fuera publicado al momento de mudarnos, pero todo ha salido perfecto, puesto que el cambio de estaciones nos ha afectado a todos, y en particular a madeimoselle Vera Rose, que es la estrella del show hoy (otra vez), con la nueva línea de productos de Baby Dove.  

Los productos de la nueva línea de Baby Dove tienen todos los nutrientes necesarios para cuidar y proteger la piel de bebé. Mi primera reacción cuando nos mudamos fue usar estos productos, puesto que cada uno fue desarrollado para combatir la piel seca y ayudar la piel a mantener su humedad natural. 

Muchos me han preguntado cómo hemos pasado las primeras semanas en Washington, y la verdad es que han sido maravillosas. El cambio de clima ha sido un cambio emocionante, aunque también nos ha impactado bastante. Vera nació en Miami y por ende está acostumbrada a un clima húmedo, entonces desde que nos mudamos su piel se ha secado mucho, y aún más después de bañarse. Hace poco aprendí que al bañarse la piel de bebé puede perder su humedad natural cinco veces más rápido que la de un adulto, que la hace mucho más vulnerable a secarse. 

Por suerte hice esta colaboración con Dove y su nueva línea de productos de Baby Dove, y Vera ha podido mantener su piel bella y bien hidratada. Cuando la baño, he estado usando Rich Moisture Tip to Toe Wash, y después aplico Rich Moisture Baby Lotion. Ambos productos, como todos los demás de esta línea, han sido probados por dermatólogos y pediatras y son hipo-alergénicos para cualquier tipo de piel de bebé. Si eres como yo, ya sabes y adoras a Dove y su larga trayectoria (tienen 60 años!) dedicada al cuidado de piel, y esta línea es una extensión de ello.

 Debo decir que Baby Dove ha funcionado de maravilla para Vera, y ha hecho la diferencia en este cambio tan drástico. Pequeños detalles como este realmente pueden hacer maravillas y facilitar la vida mientras cuidamos de nuestros pequeños.
