Oh Lola

Hello beauties! Today I am super happy because I’m sharing my first monthly challenge from the Fashion Bloggers Venezuela community, a group I am extremely proud to be a member of, because the truth is that nothing makes me feel more happy or fortunate than being Venezuelan. So this post/challenge is truly special and very close to my heart.

This month’s challenge was to create a monochromatic look, which basically involves creating an outfit using one color or similar colors from the same spectrum with different textures, which combined make a harmonious composition. The truth is that it’s a fun and safe composition if you don’t take the idea too far. We used the same color tone (coincidentally), since that’s what I had in my closet and in all honesty I had never tried these two pieces on together but I love how it turned out. I think it’s an option that won’t let you down. One solid color stylizes and lengthens your figure, so it’s the perfect option if you’re looking for an outfit that does just that.

I love that I got Vera to match me too and this is the first time we even tried, and it makes me super happy that we’ll have plenty more chances to do so, because there is nothing more fun than sharing outfits with your baby. Hola fabulosas, hoy estoy súper feliz porque les traigo mi primera participación en un reto mensual que hace la comunidad de Fashion Bloggers Venezuela a la que tengo el grandísimo orgullo de pertenecer, porque la verdad es que no hay nada que me haga sentir más feliz y afortunada que ser venezolana. Así que este post/reto es súper especial y está muy cerca de mi corazón.

El reto se trataba de formar un look monocromático, que es básicamente crear un outfit basándote toda en un mismo color o del mismo espectro con piezas de diferentes texturas y que juntas conformen una composición armoniosa. La verdad, al final, es una composición segura y divertida si no abusas de ella. Nosotras usamos un mismo tono (de casualidad), era lo que tenía en mi closet del mismo color y la verdad nunca me lo había puesto junto pero me encantó el resultado. Creo que es una opción que no te va a quedar mal. Un solo bloque de color estiliza y alarga la figura, así que es una súper buena opción si estás buscando algo que haga precisamente esto por ti.

Amo lograr combinar a Vera conmigo y esto es algo que hacemos por primera vez y me súper emociona poder seguir haciéndolo, no hay nada más divertido que poder compartir looks con tu bebé.
