One of my favorite looks of all time finally made it to the blog! This leather Midi skirt is definitely one of the best pieces in my closet at the moment. It was my first catch of the fall season which is now beautifully upon us, it’s my favorite color, and I wore it with a very simple, black blouse because I didn’t want to steal the skirt’s thunder. And since we were on vacation and I knew I wanted to be as comfortable as possible, I wore white tennis shoes (a classic but a goodie because they match everything). That day in New York was amazing, we had such a good time walking around the city, eating at different places, and I think when you feel comfortable and happy with what you’re wearing, that generates positive energy that’s transmitted in all that you do and your day simply turns out better. I’m not saying clothes have some magical power, but I have always believed that what you wear expresses something and when you are comfortable and love what you’re wearing you’re destined to have better days, I promise!
Take advantage of the new season because it’s ideal to try the famous Midi skirt (for those of you who don’t know, the name refers specifically to its length, which is below the knee but above the ankle). Even if you’re short like me, don’t be discouraged, give it a try because even though the length doesn’t make our legs look longer, it’s still a piece that looks good, especially if you find one with an opening slit like this one.

Uno de mis looks favoritos de todos los tiempos finalmente llega al blog, esta falda Midi de cuero es una de las mejores piezas que hay en mi closet del momento. Fue mi primera compra pensando en el otoño, es mi color favorito, la combiné con una blusa muy sencilla negra porque no quería quitarle nada de protagonismo. Y como estábamos de vacaciones y sabía que necesitaba estar lo más cómoda posible me puse un par de deportivas blancas. Ese día fue maravilloso, disfrutamos muchísimo los tres en familia paseando, comiendo y caminando por la ciudad y yo creo que cuando te sientes cómoda y feliz con lo que tienes puesto eso genera una especie de energía positiva que se transmite y tu día simplemente es mejor. No digo que la ropa tenga poderes mágicos, pero siempre he creído que lo que te pones expresa algo y cuando estás cómoda y amas lo que llevas puesto estás destinada a tener mejores días, lo prometo.
Aprovechen la nueva temporada que es ideal para probar la famosa falda Midi (que para las que no saben, se refiere específicamente a la altura de la falda, que es más abajo de la rodilla pero más arriba del tobillo) si son chiquitas como yo, no se frenen prueben de todas maneras porque apesar de que la altura de la falda no nos alarga la pierna igual es una prenda que se sigue viendo bien, especialmente si usan algo con una abertura como en mi caso. Les dejo besos y toda la buena vibra del mundo para ustedes + escarcha (la escarcha hace que todo en la vida sea mejor, no?) y papelillo!
