As I already mentioned in an earlier post, being a mommy is the greatest experience ever. It’s incredible to have a little person that you created and literally came out of you. People often ask me, “what does it feel like to be a mother?” and, I don’t know if this happened to you, but I feel like I’ve been a mom my whole life. It’s as if it’s reaffirmed in your neuronal programming that the moment you become a mommy somehow (instinctively I guess) you know exactly what to do.
You know so much that it seems like you’ve always been a mommy, it’s really amazing. So, in response to the question I always say that I feel the same, but happier, with a bigger and fuller heart than before and that I definitely have less time. And that’s how, due to my newly acquired time constraints, I began to buy only dresses. During my pregnancy I would wear them for comfort and now with Vera I wear them to save time getting ready. Dresses take away almost all of the work you normally have to do when deciding what to wear, you don’t have to match a top and bottom or consider whether the styles go together, you just add a pair of shoes and accessories and you’re ready – it’s magical.
In all seriousness, though, to all women and mommas out there that don’t want or don’t have the time to think about putting and matching pieces together, just go with dresses and always add an awesome accessory because they have the ability to enhance a look that much more. Also, for this season I bought two pairs of gladiator sandals, one silver and one gold, because both colors match pretty much everything. Como ya he dicho anteriormente, ser mamá es lo mejor de la vida, es increíble y maravilloso tener una personita que literalmente salió de ti. La gente me pregunta que ¿qué se siente ser mamá? y no se si les pasó, pero a mí me sucede que siento que toda la vida he sido mamá, es como que viene tan reafirmado en tu programación neuronal que en el momento que sucede de alguna manera (supongo instintiva) sabes exactamente qué hacer.
Sabes tanto que parece que siempre has sido mamá, es realmente asombroso, así que yo siempre respondo que, me siento igual que siempre pero más feliz, con el corazón más grande que antes y que definitivamente tengo menos tiempo. Así por cuestiones de tiempo fue que empecé a comprar sólo vestidos. Antes cuando estaba embarazada lo hacía por comodidad y ahora con Vera lo hago por tiempo. Los vestidos te quitan casi todo el trabajo de encima, no tienes que combinar piezas ni pensar si los estilos van juntos, sólo agregas zapatos y accesorios y ya estás, es mágico.
De esta manera, y en mi obsesión por los vestidos, fue cómo encontré esta belleza. Me enamoré apenas lo vi, es fresco y suave y tiene un aire romántico que me encanta. Luego, el mismo día y en la misma tienda ya con el vestido en la mano y enamorada de él , vi el collar y dije estos dos nacieron para estar juntos y así fue cómo nació esta historia de amor.
Ahora ya hablando en serio a todas las mamás o mujeres que no tengan muchas ganas o tiempo de pensar en combinaciones o estilos, opten por los vestidos y siempre agreguen un súper accesorio, que tienen la capacidad maravillosa de realzar a cien por cien cualquier look. También para esta temporada compré dos pares de gladiadoras (me encantan las gladiadoras) y decidí comprarlas en colores metalizados. Compré doradas y plateadas que puedo usar con prácticamente todos los colores existentes.
