Oh Lola

Last year around this time I remember going to my first Pumpkin Patch. I was pregnant, blissful, and had so many dreams just waiting for my sweet little princess. This year was Vera’s first trip to a Pumpkin Patch and sharing these moments with her really make the highlights of my life. They seem like such small things, and maybe even insignificant to some, but for some reason when you’re a mom everything changes and all of the little things and experiences begin to mean so much more. We spent our entire Sunday between pumpkins, hugs, and kisses, then we went back home with a pumpkin which supposedly I should use to make a pumpkin pie. I really don’t think I’ll get that far – giggles – maybe next year…we’ll see! (Not promising anything.)

Now let’s talk about this outfit. As you probably already know, military Green jackets are a thing, so if you don’t have one, don’t wait any longer to add it to your closet! Mine was love first sight, it’s from the online store SheIn. I already recommended this site to you in a previous post, but they are one of my favorite online stores, so go check out all they have to offer! They have all of the latest trends and the prices are very affortable. I matched my jacket with this blush colored, pleated midi skirt (the pleated skirt really is a must-have this season). Since we were going out to do several errands and walk around a bit, I used my white tennis shoes and ta-da, the result came out perfect for me. It’s a sporty-chic look, but also carries a romantic touch which I love. Vera is wearing a dress with a tutu and of course her signature animal print headband. The day was magical like all the ones I spend with my little family. Kisses and good vibes from me to you!

El año pasado para esta fecha recuerdo haber ido a mi primer “Pumpkin Patch.” Ya estaba embarazada, feliz y con toda la ilusión del mundo esperando a mi muñeca. Este año fue el primero de Vera y la verdad compartir estas cosas con ella es una de las experiencias más maravillosas de la vida, parecen cosas pequeñas, y para algunos insignificantes, pero por alguna razón cuando eres mamá cambia la cosa y todos los detalles y experiencias son exponenciadas. Pasamos nuestro domingo entre calabazas, abrazos y besos, luego regresamos a casa con una calabaza y se supone que haga pie de calabaza. La verdad no creo que llegue hasta allá -risas- de repente el próximo año, ¡vamos a ver! (No prometo nada.)

Ahora sí hablemos de este outfit, como ya deben saber las chaquetas verde militar “are a thing,” así que si no tienen una corran por ella. La mía fue amor a primera vista, es de la tienda online SheIn. Ya les he recomendado antes este portal, son una de mis tiendas online favoritas así que no duden en pasar por allá, tienen todo lo trendy y los precios son súper convenientes. La combiné con esta falda color blush, es plisada (un must de la temporada) y a media pierna (midi skirt). Como íbamos de paseo me puse mis deportivas blancas y tarán, el resultado para mí fue perfecto. Es un look sporty-chic pero con un toque romántico que me encanta. Vera tiene puesto un vestido de tutú con su signature headband de animal print. El día fue mágico como todos los que paso junto a mi pequeña familia.
