On Sunday we took Vera to a place that’s extra special to us…it’s actually where Mr. Pfaehler asked me to marry him. It was the first time we went back since that night, and I’ll be honest, I felt a special little spark being back there, not only happily married and completely sure it was the best decision I’ve made in my life, but also to be able to bring our daughter with us, who is the best and most beautiful representation of our love.
If you visit D.C. don’t miss out on visiting this gorgeous monument, it’s one of the most special in the whole city. I recommend coming at dusk and watching the sunset (it’s magical)!
Here Vera and I are matching in our favorite color (pink for the WIN!). This ruffled skirt was love at first sight and you already know what I think of ruffles: “there’s no such thing as too many of them.” It’s pretty clear at this point they’re my favorite trend (for now).

El domingo llevamos a Vera a uno de los lugares mas especiales para nosotros, donde Mr. Pfaehler me pidió matrimonio. Es la primera vez que volvemos desde esa noche, la verdad no voy a mentir, sentí un spark especial de estar allí de vuelta, no solamente felizmente casada y segura de que fue la major decisión que tomé en mi vida, sino además traer con nosotros a nuestra hija que es la mejor y más linda representación de nuestro amor!
Si vienen de visita no duden de visitar, es uno de los monumentos más hermosos de la ciudad. Les recomiendo venir al final de la tarde y ver el atardecer (es mágico)!
