Oh Lola

One of the best things about being a mom is being able to match your kids (giggles)! In all seriousness, it has to be one of the top ten most fun things to do, ever! I must say I absolutely love matching Vera, who, by the way, is more beautiful and fun every day!

This dress was a gift from one of my best friends that came and saw me from Venezuela when I was pregnant. She brought me this gorgeous little dress for Vera, and I remember so clearly the first time I saw it, because to me it looked so big I could never have imagined my baby actually fitting in such a big dress. Of course I loved the print (obviously, black and white everything, remember?). I loved this dress so much I hung it on a little coat rack as decoration in Vera’s room even before she was born. The truth is, seeing it there ever day made me happy and I waited so anxiously the day she would grow big enough to wear it. Then, magic happened when a collaboration opportunity came about with the online store SheIn, and I was able to get a dress with the same print but with inverted colors (I mean, seriously, let the confetti rain from the heavens). This mommy and me post is my favorite without a doubt. It would seem that every time I take pictures or make posts with Vera it just keeps getting better and better, just like all of our days together.

Una de las mejores cosas de ser mamá es poder combinarte con tus hijos (risas). En serio es lo más divertido del mundo. Yo particularmente amo combinarme con Vera, ¡que btw todos los días está más bella y divertida!  

Este vestido fue un regalo de una de mis mejores amigas de hace un montón de tiempo que vino a verme cuando estaba embarazada desde Venezuela y se lo trajo a Vera. Recuerdo claramente la primera vez que lo vi, para mí era tan grande no me imaginaba a mi bebe entrando en ese vestido tan grande, pero por supuesto amé el estampado (obviamente, black and white everything remember?). Amé tanto este vestido que lo tenía como decoración en el cuarto de Vera desde inclusive antes que naciera, colgado en su little coat rack, la verdad es que verlo todos los días ahí me hacía feliz y con ansias esperaba el día que le quedara para ponérselo. Pero magic happened cuando en una colaboración con la tienda online SheIn conseguí este vestido con el mismo estampado pero con los colores invertidos (osea papelillo mal, exagerado, más papelillo, que siga el papelillo y que no pare). Este mommy and me post es mi favorito sin duda, tal parece que cada vez que hago fotos o posts con Vera la cosa se pone mejor y mejor, así como nuestros días juntas.
