I’m in love with this weather, and even though I’m a tropical girl and that’ll never change, the idea of being able to play with what I wear during the seasons excites me! Every season lets you “play” with pieces and textures that are completely different, and that really motivates me! For this look I used one of the most go-to techniques for Fall, and it involves layering pieces that aren’t necessarily for this season but they are perfect to transition if you mix them and put one on top of the other.
Basically this technique is about using pieces you’ve had since summer and overlapping them to create layers that protect you from the cold and add a little life to a few pieces that are just hanging in your closet! I used a black slip dress with a t-shit underneath, and also threw one of my favorite coats over my shoulders, combined it all with comfortable oxfords to walk around the city, and topped it off with a baker hat (a BOOM this season)! Estoy enamorada de este clima y aunque yo soy una chica tropical y eso nunca va a cambiar, me emociona un montón la idea de poder jugar en las temporadas. Cada temporada te permite “jugar” con piezas y texturas completamente diferentes y eso me súper emociona, en este look usé uno de los métodos mas recurridos en el Fall y es el layering de piezas que no son necesariamente de temporada pero pueden servir de transición si las mezclas y los pones uno sobre el otro.
Básicamente se trata de usar piezas que traes desde el verano en tu closet y sobreponerlas para crear capas que te permiten cubrirte del frío y te permite darle un poco más de vida útil a algunas de esas piezas que vienes adorando en tu closet! Yo usé un slip dress negro con una camiseta o t-shirt por debajo y me puse uno de mis abrigos favoritos sobre los hombros, zapatos oxfords cómodos para caminar por la ciudad y el infaltable baker hat (BOOM de la temporada!)… Espero les guste y se animen a usar este truquito de estilismo, déjenme sus preguntas y opiniones en los de comentarios, las leooo!
