Oh Lola

To celebrate Father’s Day, I’ve partnered with Daniel Wellington and together decided to do a fun post on the 10 things you don’t know about Mr. Pfaehler. There are millions of traits and details that contribute to his marvelousness, but these are a few of the random facts that most define him:

1. He speaks fluent Spanish! Amazingly enough, he speaks the best Spanish you’ll ever hear an American speak. Not only does he speak without an American accent, but he also uses Venezuelan phrases and slang, and his grammar and spelling is just as good as his diction! (#proudwife)
2. He’s a writer. He studied creative writing and he still hides love letters around the house for me to find.
3. He has an uncontrollable passion for avocado!
4. He is incredibly disciplined and organized (unlike me).
5. He loves to read and collect books. If you want to give him a gift, give him a book and you’ll definitely win him over.
6. He is very romantic (also, unlike me –giggles-).
7. He takes all of my pictures for OH LOLA!
8. He loves watches, and was extra excited when he got his Daniel Wellington.
9. He makes the best arepas on the block!
10. He reads the newspaper every day, we have a print subscription and he always says he loves the smell of the paper (just like me).
11. Bonus round: he is the best dad in the world and he is completely and hopelessly in love with his little one, just like we are with him!

Para celebrar el día del padre me uni en una colaboracion con Daniel Wellington y les hice un post divertido contándoles 10 cosas que no saben de Mr. Pfaehler. Hay millones de cosas que componen su maravillosidad pero estos son algunos de los random facts que más le definen:

1. He speaks fluent Spanish! Increíblemente, es el americano con el español más perfecto que jamás hayas conocido, no solamente habla sin acento americano, además usa todos los modismos venezolanos y su ortografía es tan perfecta como su dicción! (#proudwife)
2. Es escritor, estudió creative writing y todavía me deja cartas de amor escondidas por los rincones de la casa.
3. Tiene una pasión incontrolable por los aguacates!
4. Es súper disciplinado y organizado (unlike me).
5. Ama leer y colecciona libros, si le quieres hacer un regalo alguna vez regálale un libro y ganarás su corazón.
6. Es súper romántico (also, unlike me –risas-).
7. Toma todas mis fotos para OH LOLA!
8. Ama los relojes por eso estaba extra emocionado cuando le llego su Daniel Wellington.
9. Hace las mejores arepas de la cuadra!
10. Lee el periódico todos los días, tenemos una suscripción impresa porque dice que le gusta el olor del papel (just like me).
11. Una extra: es el mejor papá del mundo y está completa y perdidamente enamorado de su pequeña, tanto como nosotras de él!
