Oh Lola

There was no other way to welcome the Christmas season than with a piece like this white and black fur beauty. There’s no seasonal justification to wear something like this in Miami, but I don’t care, such is fashion: it’s all about expressing a feeling, being a rebel, breaking the rules, and not limiting yourself. I found this piece during a collaboration with the online store MakeMeChic, and as soon as I found it I fell in love (romantic, I know, but true!). I can say, with zero reservations, that as soon as this vest made it to my closet it became my favorite thing to wear. For now it’s just a gorgeous option on the blog, but I can’t wait to take a little vacation to a cooler location during the winter to rock my faux fur coat!

This is one of the thousand ways you can wear this piece. One of my basic rules is to let your statement piece shine, but it doesn’t always have to be that way, since you can match this kind of option with whatever you want and you can even play with the layering depending on how cold it is. As I was saying, you don’t have to limit yourself; on the contrary, take advantage of a complement like this to not only make your look fashionable but also original.

No había manera de que le diera la bienvenida a la temporada navideña sin una pieza como esta. No hay justificación climática para ponerse algo así en Miami pero no importa, así es la moda, se trata de expresar algo, de ser irreverente y romper las reglas, no limitarse. Encontré esta pieza en una colaboración con la tienda online MakeMeChic, la vi y me enamoré. Podría decir sin que me quede nada por dentro que desde que llegó a mi closet (hace poco) pasó a ser mi pieza favorita. Por ahora es sólo una propuesta para el blog, pero I can’t wait to take a little vacation to a cooler location durante el invierno para rockear mi faux fur coat.

Esta es una de las mil maneras en las que puedes usar esta pieza. Una de mis reglas básicas es que dejar al statement piece brillar, pero no siempre tiene que ser así, este tipo de piezas las puedes combinar con lo que quieras y puedes jugar con un layering dependiendo de la intensidad del frío.
